Course Objectives
This ten-day Power Workshop is an intensive trainingprogram für future Cisco MDS 9000 experts and teaches the students a deep technical understanding for the implementation, the configuration and the management of the Cisco MDS 9000 series. The Workshop is the first step towards the CCIE Storage Networking certification. It contains the topics of the following courses in a comprehensive form:

- SCSI, Fibre Channel, FICON
- FCIP & iSCSI
- Installation & Configuration of MDS 9000 Switches with CLI & GUI Tools
- Configuration of Switch Interfaces, VSANs, Zones & PortChannels
- Configuration of Advanced FC Services including Inter-VSAN Routing, Traffic Engineering, Security, AAA, IPFC & Interoperability
- Advanced Fabric Management, Performance Management & Security
- Configuration of high-available FCIP & iSCSI Environments
- MDS 9000 Troubleshooting including FC Analyzer, SPAN & GUI Analyzing tools
